full moon behind the clouds and village lights on power pylons, 30 second exposure at f3.5 iso 100 hence the streaky clouds and the breeze moving the tops of the branches on the tall silver birch, imho lighting makes it look like some strange 3d render! the only correction made was to fix the colour to make the white walls as close to white as poss

Wow, Jeremi!! Great shot. Great exposure. I love these shots that show a passage of time! Was your camera set on automatic or did you experiment with different times to find the effect you wanted? My only suggestion is to remove the powerlines in your image software. Still a powerful image though. High marks!!

This is such a peaceful scene...so lonely yet warm. I actually like the powerlines, it makes it all the more"real" to me! The shadows of the fence is amazing!! Something about fences is always so intriguing..and this one is great!!! this scene just makes me feel so good....I could sit and dream just by looking at it...thanx so much for posting it...onto my desktop and into fvs it goes right off!!

::CrazyIvan :

I thought about removing the wires but i like how they make a nice angle which corresponds with the tyre tracks in the sand to form a guide to an off picture vanishing point left most

i think that adds to the overall outlandishness of the whole thing

i hope you agree

The exposure is excellent. I love the subject and the fencing. I like the natural and clear details you were able to capture and the eerie yet calming colors. The powerlines are a catch 22. I can well understand your decision to keep them yet had they been removed, none of us would have been the wiser and I think I'd have preferred that (at least the horizontal ones. ) Just a personal choice though. They do not sway my vote. What I would like to see more is a slight to the right rotation. Kudos for this unique presentation.

The detail here is amazing! Love the cloud movement and the treetop as mentioned. I agree with bjb, though, about the need for a slight rotation to the right. Still and all, a wonderful photo!

Wow the sky is an amazing colour. i love the shadows from the fence, and the star effect on the light. i think it would help if the power lines were attatched to something. exellent photograph.

How I missed this, I don't know. Fantastic shot !! Amazing that the sky color was not enhanced, at first, until I read your description, I thought it was. Outstanding.

Hello Jerimi....Night-time photography can produce some of the most dramatic images that you can create, and it can also be one of the more difficult types of photography to learn and master....You have certainly captured a dramatic scene here...The low angle and using the fence to take your eye into the picture is very clever...All the best...Mick.

Great picture. Mood was well captured with this time exposure, but overall
composition really makes it. Did you use a star filter? I agree, maybe I'd
take out the power lines - but they don't distract much. Eric eyeyes
