Hm... Quite morbid shot really. ^_^ The other one is a lot better but I see why you posted this one. It looks grainy over the surface of the pumpkin but that's perhaps just how it looked. The part I like the most is the fire you can see behind it's eyes.

I don’t see a morbid photo here, I see an imaginative photo with excellent exposure control. Well done.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

There is more than one way to light up a Mr. Pumpkinhead. Good original idea for a shot. I like the way it is tilted. It is also the fave of your two shots as this one allows you to focus more on the pumpkin rather than the fire itself. :-)

Maniacal! Cool. I'm just the kind of person who'd use something like this more often than just Halloween.

oooh, cool!! This is a really good capture, it has excellent mood to it. The tilt, and the manical smile seem to suit him so wonderfully as he burns!

I can just see you calling to family members .."Quick .. bring more .. get the Easter Bunny, Barbies, that Willie Wonka doll you just had to have .. Yayesss .. FIRE GOOD"

You could do a whole coffee-table-book featuring shots like this, documenting civilization's waste .. and .. people would buy it

Now that is a great shot. Did you plan on taking this picture, or decided to burn your pumpkin then thought, "Hey, this would make a great shot..."
