During my stay in England this semester, I've visited many sights in the vicinity of Leicester, but Chatsworth was by far the best experience of them all. It's a really beautiful place, and I would recommend it to anybody who travels to England. The castle is wonderful, and the surrounding gardens are like paradise. This picture is (as you can probably see) a bit manipulated, since the sky was too white that day. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm enjoying it, and since you've told us what you had to do to salvage this pic, it makes it a very special one and you did a great job of conveying the feelings you were speaking of in your narrative.

Not bad - but the the lens flare is too "heavy". I think you should have made it a more subtle lens flare, since it kind of take away the focus from the trees and lawn.
Still, I'll put it in my favs, for now.
Keep it up!

I do mostly in nature shots, but like "experimental" manipulation as well. Drop by some time.

I think the giant "bubbles" give this shot a nice dreamlike effect. The only change I would suggest is removal of the man near the trees.

O very nice indeed ! I just do like manipulation with an image, the light flares do add more color to the image, thanks for the posting !
