What a view Mr. Dillon. I am trying to get my camera to do this but I have a little learning to do. Love the clear, expanse of this one. Colors are great. Nice to see you around again. Great photo and I like the window in the clouds. I expect to see Ghost Riders of the Sky scurrying across the clouds.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Amazing terrain and sky, Dan! It looks so rugged across the landscape. I see what Tick means about the Ghost Riders. The clouds are so unusual. Great pic from this elevation.

It just looks as though the sky has opened up here Dan. I too love the vastness of this photo giving it so much depth,it looks as though the clouds are several miles away. Your composition carries the eyes so smoothly in this. Nice shooting Sheriff( with your camera that is) lol.

Did you purchase a wide angle lens, Sheriff? It certainly looks like it from the scope of this one.

Great colors!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

That is the definition of "desolate". Is there any water out there? Don't break down.
