This old house is located at the Fullerton Arboretum where I took my wheelchair image. ( See my gallery) This arboretum is locate next to Cal State Fullerton where I went to college.
This is a wonderful pic. Great perspective and color. Just one little flaw, could be straightened up a tad. See I can say that and get away with it. If Clay did you could slap him, though I don't think you would. But don't tell him that.
The tilt-thing that Jerry mentioned....it is MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IN MY OWN WORK!
I have absolutely screwed up many a shot coz of that tilt. CAN CLAY or JERRY please give us some pointers????? Sometimes at an angle, it is extremely hard to know just how it will turn out in the photos! My Father was a brick/block mason...and used a leveling tool...and sheesh, wish I had one on my camera!
Sorry to babble on your work here darlin'...but maybe we can get some tips on this?
YOUR photo: aside from the tilt, which does not render your photo as a serious flaw, it is ever so slight and forgiveable.....and the clarity, colors and the subject....beautiful!
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
I am on this site to learn about photography and I want and seek honest opinions from experienced artists. I will take the point from the perspective of helping me become a better photographer and therefore I will be grateful that I can count on your honesty.
A lovely house Kim. I just love those white picket fences & how the flowers are growing around them. You captured this nicely. Wish I had a large porch like that to sit for awhile & enjoy a beautiful evening. Well done.
I like this one very much. Seems like a horror house from a movie, such as the amityville horror ;) Beautiful colors and it's not so sharp, a little smooth that's great! Also the light that come from above is stunning. Great job, nicely done :)
What a great old house here! They really have a lot more character in them than new architecture! Nice picture..I dont mind a little tilt..I'll just move my head to compensate! lol
