Oh wow ! very professional looking shot! it's so soft, so clear and detailed... and it's a very nice angle! I'm not usually a great fan of flowers shots but this one left me mesmerized!^^
wonderful job Klas!^^
Thank you so much guys for all the super comments. I felt compelled to make some shots of this orchid we got some time ago before it wither away... I'm not as good at keeping flowers as I am at shooting them. :D I had some tricky light but it turned out pretty good I think. I'm soon moving to a new place and I'll try and make a small photo shooting studio area there. This shot is from my kitchen floor with a sheet as a background... ^_^ It was rather uncomfortable to crawl around on my knees to get a good angle but it was worth it I guess. :)
Graeme and Tracy, of course you may do an edit if you like. :) I made some cropping to this one so I don't have a full highrez version (it's 2130x1597 if you like to have that one...) (I have some very similar shots with my cameras max rez (2592x1944) intact if you rather use that. (You will have to check colors and levels in that case...)) Maybe you only need the version I got here? Give me a holler of how you like to do it. :)
orchids are amaz-zing : ) the symmetry...ah. & Klas, what a good macro, i've been desperate to do some digital macros, soon I will be getting a better camera(mwahahaha)
good job u capped it b4 time has its effects : D
Thank you so much Clayton. I succeded with about my usual 10% of my total shots in this photo session. :) So I got maybe six really good ones. This one was best suited for caedes I think...
(I really need to create a good working space to shoot photos in my next apartment. ^_^ It's such a drag not to be able to photograph stuff without hassle. Makes me use my camera too little.)
Thank you Simon. I'm glad you like it. I got a tendency to be a bit too variable in my submissions. I really should stick with what I'm good at but I can't help that I wander astray from the "straight path", if you can call it that.
Thank you. I think I agree. Some patience might be in place since it's really the wrong season here and I have not so many more flower shots that are good enough in my current collection of photos. :)
