Hey the Macro King is at it again....this is a wicked shot Klas, choice subject & execution, tis nicely framed & even tho the colours are not vibrant u have drawn attention to the form & structure. beautifully composed. simplicity at its best : {D
Thanks. :) Only 1/10 sometimes much less gets close to this standard when I shoot. Under certain conditions 1 good photo in 100 shots is ok I think. But I'm rather picky with my work. (Not that it allways shows. ^_^)
EXCELLENT shot. i love close-up pictures. What format did you take this in? standard film, self developed? commercially developed? scanned in? digital? please reply to that effect. Thank you very much, and once again, GREAT image! :D

Thanks for the comment. :) What you said is exactly what I was trying to do with this photo, putting the ordinary in an extraordinary frame so to speak, so I'm glad you liked it that way.
I never thought about that but I guess you are right. Maybe that's one of the reasons I like your fractal images so much. Thanks for the kind words. :)
this is one great capture! i just love how simple it is, that there is nothing in focus except for this one stalk. you must have a great eye. i love the curling of the leaves, it is so graceful. also, i really like hoe there are no virbant colors, it keeps the focus on the structure and shape of the leaves. the focus is great, there is so much detail. i just love this shot, great work! ~abby
ah single helixes, that can't be good for the genotype, interesting title, these do look like a separated dna strand. also i appreciate any fairly feasible reference to science. danke
