It's been a while since I posted a simple flower shot. This is from yesterday, I went on a walk with my son and he luckily had the patience to wait for me once in a while... ^_^ I don't know the name of this one (it was of about 10 cm hight). If you know the name I'll be very happy if you shared it with me.

lol. We are a clever bunch. I would have to add with little spike thingees. It's very nice to see a signature nature find from you again. I miss your eye for these captures. I'm glad you've figured out a way to make a team effort out of it. ;)

This photo must be seen at full size to see the marvelous details. Perfectly clear and focused. Beautiful shot, Klas :-)

Hi Klas
Nice shot....I love the rich colors.
I tried some shots of these myself...but they never seem to show what i see in reality.
You managed that in this one...well done.
I know thats a harder job then most of us can imagine.

From the flower alone it looks like a Veronica (Common name: Speedwell).

Veronicas have many different varieties and without seeing the whole plant I can't be totally sure.

Great photo! Q

Is it out of focus, grainy and poorly framed like yours was? Please spear me of such nonsense as the above. If you have any valid critique I'm happy to hear you out. You don't have to like what I do though. That is not a problem.

On the other hand... When you submitted something into the flower gallery that looked like something the cat brought home (or in other words the description of the first paragraph) and give no description that indicate any "artistic" intention, then I had problems of letting it though the initial line of defence. I have been corrected on that point by others, but it's not in your place to do so. I will comply to that but believe it will not be the best thing in the long run. If you put pieces of that kind (as the one I rejected) in the manipulations gallery I will have less problem with it.
