Ownership of land is, at best, a useful human fiction.
The first thing I noticed when I took this to full screen was the sharp focus throughout the pic, and then my eye was caught by the green tones of the reflection. The little island becomes a focal point, the trees on the left are a partial frame. The river looks a bit high and swift...perhaps it is in a Spring flood.
