If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect, then why practice?
What were the circumstances of this? is it at a rehab or a private owner? It is an emotion-provoking photo - the deer's face somehow says it all, and the stark fencing background explains it. I wish it well and better life ahead.

This is not just sad, it's animal abuse. Whoever 'captured' the deer, I hope they give her a reprieve soon... :-( Thanks for posting.

I can only agree with all who commented before me - I do hope that:
1. the animal is well taken care of;
2. will be set free soon or
3. the fellow who keeps the animal locked against laws would go to prison or pay 50,000 USD fine [per day of captivity of the deer]
In any case just guess my vote ! LOL 10/10 of course - I could not resist those eyes ....
