Poor tree, ending like that. But there are a lot more there, they'll be all pretty in spring, don't you worry. I like the capture.

Its carcass is left to replenish the soil and to provide shelter and a roosting spot for whatever until its demise is complete.

Lovely photo Milka and interesting shot too.Nice detail spot on composition and this shot get you thinking what next for this tree.I see life taken form in the shape of insect digging in birds coming to feed and fungi and moss taking over.Well done o a great looking photography.
