I thought the winter was over, but not yet. I shot this small lake near my hometown. The snow and ice didn't last long. Fortunately.

It doesn't look that cold, there is sun and shadows and I love them. I love those beautiful blue colors. But I prefer swimming there. Maybe soon. LOL

Milka, I agree with Bob that this very fine image would be a good entry for the contest.
Love both the composition and the wonderful tones, but hope with Tedi that soon you can swim there.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Wow this is superb Milka and I love the ice blue colours in this capture and great composition too .plus the shadow of the tree at the front this picture and row of house with them lovely red roof adds a great look to this stunning capture .

Now Milka. Let's examine this picture, You say it's cold and beautiful- both at the same time. Do you mean the same time as in day or hour or week or this century??? Just kidding of course because it's obvious that this is beautiful but we have to take your word for it that it's cold.....well, it looks cold but just what is cold........Never mind, whats the matter with me anyway??? Don't answer that just keep 'em coming.....till spring of course then no more winter scenes please!!:):) Nice post-work here by the way:):)

If you ask me, Bruce, I hate winter, but it's a necessary evil, as we say. LOL I hate snow, too, especially in town, it's dirty. And, thanks for the nice comment.
