I agree with the border but in gerneral this is just beautiful.The texture and your
lighting is wonderful.This would make an awsome aztec or celtic shield.

A fractal? I had to read your description to realize it was a fractal. I thought I was looking at a detail photo of a beautifully filigreed door from some moslem temple or something of that sort. When I went to college for fine art, one of my associates in the studio next to me specialized in photo-realism. He would hang his larger-than-life paintings of waterfowl in the meeting rooms in the student union and, whenever I would enter one to attend a meeting, I would always see these geese in my peripheral vision. I knew they were there and that they were only a painting, but for a few moments I was always startled by giant geese in the room. When an artist is able to use his/her medium to create a visual that completely fools the viewer, then the artist has truly succeeded in its replication. That's what your fractal did for me. Not only beautiful but entertaining. Thank you.
