This would be wonderful as a statement about global warming, but the other image is more expressive of the devastation and destruction created by wars. I love these two images.
I like this one but I think the flames are more powerful. The only conflict in this is the movement and color - blue is generally a peaceful color. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Kristof - I second Anne's thoughts on the color. Retitle it maybe and let the other stand for war/conflict. Both are nice, both are powerful, both have tremendous meaning ... good job! - Patty
Well Kristof, if it was up to me i went for the other one, much more powerfull indeed and symbolic. On its one this of course is a well done job too.
greetings, Wim
This one's a pretty accurate version...being that much of the world's conflict is in the "windblown" section of the map...Great concept and composition!

I like this one best, and I like the blue -- it adds more global implications, and the extent of the windblown quality on this one adds a sense of urgency.
i like this one better actually. i knwo the other one is more powerfull and the colors are more true to what it represents, but i really like the blue here, and the swirling of it. and i like how it is all kind of centered, the mess and chaoticness all seems to be coming together, not in a good way in my mind. very cool idea and very well done! ~abby
