Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.
-Josemaria Escriva

kodo, your photos are so beautiful.. color-wise, texture-wise, and you pick the most unique angles and composition. This is the perfect way to sample all the neat pictures you've taken. Great idea
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Your unique images are very well presented. Great work. As for this idea, I know an artist on Deviantart who does just that, except that her images have less space between them, and I have done it too. It is such a great idea anyway. :)
I've seen this idea in a poster for the Toronto Zoo. I loved the poster so I am especially pleased that you took the idea and posted it here for a desktop. I acutally like your depiction better! Thanks!

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
I don't think anybody can claim credit for the idea, it's been a staple of photography since decades before the internet. The materials, patterns and colors you've used and the way it leaps off the desktop are all you, each little gem is a masterwork.

"The truth is, of course, that the curtness of the Ten Commandments is an evidence, not of the gloom and narrowness of a religion, but, on the contrary, of its liberality and humanity. It is shorter to state the things forbidden than the things permitted: precisely because most things are permitted, and only a few things are forbidden."
~G.K. Chesterton
a wonderful tribute to the diversity of life on earth! superb job with some excellent photography all wrapped up in a showcase of an image! well done :)
Wow this is so cool! Who cares where you saw it the quality of the images are amazing! You must have some absolutely cracking animal shots! They are clear and close and beautiful and you can see the detail of every feather, every tuft of fur! Saw it on the featured imaged on the homepage and love this fab idea. Fantastic!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
OK, this is truly an amazing work of art. So many emotions and interest and originality all mixed in together produce a unique experience. Absolutely brilliant and worth all your efforts in producing this. Perfect selection and placement of pictures. Bravo!
