Wow...I've never been tempted to eat a bug before, but this looks like a piece of candy!!!! I can't be critical, you're so far outta my league that mostly I just sit and stare :)
It looks like there's a funny face on the back of that insect. The angle on this one I prefer because it affords me a good look at the little guy and his environment.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

And what a work of lines it is. This photo is such a list of contrasts. All the lines are diagonal but then you have a line going across all the rest giving it a nice contrast in direction. The red bug against the green foliage - contrast in color. Red puffy bug against green fiberous plants - contrast in texture. Subject placed on upper left third - excellent composition. DOF - subject is in focus, everything else is background. Superb as usual, Kristof.
I'm very far behind in my comments due to some recent family issues so please forgive this generic comment. I have viewed this image and found it to be very good. I didn't want to pass it by with out mentioning it's beauty. Thank you for sharing it with us. You have created a very beautiful image and I envy your talent. I hope to view more of your work and give a more personal comment in the near future. Your images are awsome. Cool macro

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
