You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Very pretty, and the steps leading off to the left lend a mysterious air to this shot. Of course the tree is drop dead gorgeous and I think that more than one bird would agree with me !!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
What a beautiful spot! I would love to be there listening to the silence nature gives us.I have a friend who will love having a small copy of this. She is very ill and loves benches...to look at, so if it's ok, I will mail her a small copy of this. Verena

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Another one of your to add to my favorites! In my sight this is perfect, in composition, colors... The fog really adds to the charm of the capture as well. You could also add someone on that bench and it would make a lovely portrait. Kudos Kristof!
