I'm taking a break from Caedes for a little while in order to deal with some domestic matters, including grappling with a replacement computer and a list of house maintenance chores as long as my arm! In the meantime may I leave you with this image and title, which seem appropriate somehow. Taken near Steyning, West Sussex, UK, in early evening, when the sun briefly lit up the field like gold before sliding behind the horizon.

We have had a run on hay fields lately and this is a beaut. I don't dare say who has the best because they are all good friends. Just let me say they are all 10's including this one. Good friends good pics....what more could a guy want?

The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people. G. K. Chesterton ........ My Gallery

Hello Kevin..this is MY kind of photo...I live in the countryside where there is a lot of HAY activity right now. I just love the colours of the fields. YOu captured it perfectly!!! I love the "hill" and then the rolls of hay, it looks as they they all came rolling right on down. Here they put the hay in big big squares...and stack them, and wow...what a scene. I have to say, I am real real FOND of cloud formations..and yours is fantastic!! There is a beautiful glow to the whole thing. I hope you get all your work done soon, so you can post some more pretty shots for us. Thank you so much..verena

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

I enjoy farm pictures as long as I do not have to do the work anymore. Now get busy with the chores so you can make a hasty return.

Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

Wonderful shot!! Reminds me a bit of my work in the hay fields in East Africa some years ago, also in Saskatchewan , Manitoba, Canada. I hope you don't have to work too hard, and that you have a shore arm. I'll miss your work here.
