I love this shot, looks professional. Love how you've placed the magazine and didn't take the shot straight from the middle. Would you be able to get a version that has an old-looking book instead of the magazine? I really like the magazine and I'm curious if the book version would turn out as good. I think a regular book could improve this a little bit (something like a classic novel, perhaps with the title partially visible), but it's a nice shot none-the-less. As far as the border goes, maybe something a little classier like a wood color would help since this is a library.

I think this is a nice idea with good composition. I'm actually not sure I agree with the others about the book idea. I think the fact that it's a magazine makes it more original (even if that wasn't the intention ^.^). I do agree, however, on the color choice for the border. I would actually suggest a darker grey. And only because I love this photo, I'm curious if I could do my own version? If not, it's all good =) Great idea.

It is nice. the focus is a little confusing but nothing the eye can't handle. I like the border and the magazine works like it or not. it also helps that it isnt thick. good take.

I really like this shot, and am actually quite fond of your using a magazine. I think my eyes are constantly shifting between the focused pages and unfocused shelves. Good shot!

Love this shot. But I agree with you on the border issue. Im not sure if I like it either, for me, the border seems to make the picture lose the moment. Without a border it would seem to capture the moment more. But good work!

i love the shot! i know the depth of field wasn't completely intentional (store lighting, though it seems bright, is crap when you try and photograph it), but i love the way the magazine is only in focus!
