One of the first shots I took in Yellowstone. I was amazed driving into the park how diverse the landscape was in each direction. You can see the burnt trees on the hills from a fire that wiped out most of the park a few years back, and the river that brought new life back in. All up and down the river were herds of buffalo, elk and deer, and in the early dawn, you might get lucky and spot a bear or two. Further into the park the Yellowstone river carved out the canyon and hoodoos of Artist Point. Hope you enjoy!

Gosh I remember how shocked I was when I saw all those poor ol' spindly trees! I had forgotten about that...and it was almost scarey to see it. But I love how well you captured this scene. The colours are fantastic..love the sky. Verena

Do not wait; the time will never be "just right."Start where you are and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?
