I had a hard time deciding on whether to frame or not frame this one. Frame won for the time being. I don't know the name of this flower. I like the colorings in these guys. Comments appreciated as always.
oh, my....color splash is right... this is beautiful..don't look to me for the correct botanical names of flowers. I've already had my head chopped off for mistaking silk flowers for real :( but I like this image and the frame is perfectly suited to this rendering.....a ten when it comes up in the voting booth...
I think these are gazanias. What a splash of color all right, but boy, what a way to start the day! I think the frame makes this a real stand out shot! But, I think it would be beautiful without the frame too, so I would have had the same dilemma. Either way, it is a stunningly bold composition and I love it!
Excuse me (puff, puff) for a minute (struggle, strain)....I'm trying to get back ( totally out of breath) in my chair. There! Whew! The download sent me reeling head over heels. Mercy. That is a winner. You oughta enter that in a contest.. Excellent and totally PROFESSIONAL!

This is great Ruby. The colors are so vibrant and I like the frame you added. It looks terrific full screen and is definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing this beauty. Anita
What a lovely clump of Gaillardias!I am not sure about the frame -it's colour distracts rather than concentrates your eye on this great photo!

I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends.
Sincerely,
Carrie
What an amazing shot Ruby! It is absolutely perfect!! I would have sworn it was a painting. I hope it comes up for me in the voting booth - it deserves nothing less than a '10'! Stunning!!! Vicky
Had to take a second look to make sure this was real. Frame adds just the right touch, for sure. Details on time of day, camera settings would be appreciated.
A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
