Love the title Ruby, it's so fitting. The colors here are magnificant, both on the flower and the Monarch. You certainly did a beautiful job capturing him perfectly. So glad you shared him and congrats on the first :) Excellent post.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
Oh well, so the wings are not open, you got them captured to perfection folded. And, the red bloom upon which the butterfuly sits is superb. Excellent work.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Well, it's my lot in life lately to be one of the last to the party, but I had to throw my hat into the ring on this one, and I must add I have camera envy big time if you got a macro that good..I didn't know it was possible straight from the lens..I always learn so much on here. I can't add anything more to what's already been said, as I am as impressed with the brilliancy of the flower and the butterfly, which didn't have to open her wings, and sometimes, it's nice to see a butterfly from a different perspective like this. Excellent, excellent job. *picks up hat, dusts it off and throws it into the air, "Hats off to Ruby"* :)PJ
Wow.. amazing picture! I love the richness of the colors, especially the red flower. This image is very crisp and clear. I love the subject and blurred green background too. Great post! -Sarah
That's okay-he's brilliantly beautiful from the side too. Have fun with butterfly shots--once you start taking them you can't stop. I love the deep red hue of the flower. A lovely photo!

This is a stunning shot, Ruby. The background brings this beautiful presentation to the forefront thus enhancing the color, depth, and sharpness of the monarch and marigold. I think you outdid yourself on this one........Neil
I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
