Decent detail in there, the rusty bit looks a tad dark but it was going to be hard to get the balance right as it would be easy to blow the highlights in the reflections. To sorta agree with Adriana I`m not sure this is the right subject for a macro shot but think you`re just trying to be a bit more creative in your work here. Keep posting more!

I think I'd like to see the whole antique jug - the reflections & moisture work well on the jug. I really like the shiny silver upper part. The blurred wall helps focus on the old jug. It's good to experiment and fun too. Thanks Laura!

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)

Laura, my first thought mirrors Caroline's ^ above. I would have liked to have seen more of the jug since that is what your subject is. I like your creativity in your composition and cannot wait to see more of your work as time goes on. And, by the way, and a little late on my part, welcome to Caedes. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.

The reason why things rust is because it's losing its energy but only when water and air are around together to take it away.

Nice shot of dying metal.
