The four horsemen are traditionally named after the powers/dangers they represent: Conquest, War, Famine and Death. With Conquest riding a white horse, War riding a red horse, Famine riding a black horse & Death, riding a pale horse of literature.

For me, these are like for wormholes in space which all connect to the same dimension - ours. Your flame art just proved that even though there might be wormholes out there, they all lead to back where you began. And no, I'm not reading into your piece too much. :)
