I am not sure if I posted this image before I stopped posting last year, but for those of you who have not seen it, I took this while down in Arizona last September. I simply got lucky with the "talking" mallard who's leading this twosome. I don't know how many more images I can muster up until I get back out there and start shooting again, but I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did when I photographed it. The wonderful thing about this thing called photography is, we can stop ANY moment in time and share it with whomever we choose, whenever we choose, and it will never lose its beauty ... ever.

This is the type of photography I will be striving for this Summer. I am tired of posting photos of little birds sitting on dead branches. This is a perfect capture of the 2 ducks in flight. And your narrative is touching, great post and thank you for the inspiration Robert. Welcome back.

As I recall, you only sent us one pic from that AZ trip...or maybe even none! Sure glad you posted this clear beauty.

Great photo Robert. It's such a good action shot and it does look like Mallard is talking.
