Nice shot... I especially like the color you chose for this... it gives an ominous presence to the lake and sky - as though it were the calm before the storm. Well done...

This is a nicely composed shot. With the almost monotone colours, it looks atmospheric.

The blurr on the right side upsets the balance a tad for me but all in all I love this scene. Especially what your choice of color made the line of trees look like. Very nice.

Wow...I really like this one! I guess it's the almost monotonal colour that draws me in, it's very appealing and tranquil. Beautiful landscape, too, looks like a scene form a winter faerie tale...the only thing I would criticise is the fact that there's rather a lot of banding throughout, but apart from that, it's wonderful.
Well done!

Like the others, I too like the color choice here...it really adds to a mood that is already very calm and still...very nice.:Pat.

i absolutly adore this picture. i would love to be there. the image itself is so tranquile, and the deep purple makes it even more placid. i love this image and i would change nothing. its perfect. 10/10 from me.

Nice shot. I use Neat Image to remove the noise in my shots. It's a great program and it's free!

This is a fine piece of work. You could stand to pay a little more attention to your focus though. If you have Photoshop, you can mess with the "Levels" a bit marking your blackest black and whiteist white and adjusting the sliders so that you get a bit more contrast. It will make the whole image "pop". Nice work.

This is a really nice shot. I love the converging diagonals and colour. My tip would be to try a smaller aperture next time perhaps F8 or smaller. The exposure time will get longer but you must have used a tripod anyway so that’s not a problem. By the way that’s only a suggestion not a criticism :-) I like it, well done.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. No. The journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path. One that we all must take. The grey-rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all will turn to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores and beyond. The far green country unto a swift sunrise.

wow, great work on the colours, i've been kinda interested in getting into some IR, i have a D70, so it should be fairly similar to your 20D, I was wondering, did you just stick a dense IR filter on your lens, set up a tripod and shoot away? also what did you do to make the colours so nice? thanks, Carl
