I found this little critter hiding in the rose bushes, so i decided to grab my camera. This one was kinda cool, because it was very sunny, and somehow it got a little dark. It made him look a little bit more majestic.

A lovely picture, a little light shining through the wings would have made it stand out more but nature is unpridictable. Well done :-)

I love the colour on this. Not your typical "beauty" (e.g. a rose), but I like it all the more for that. I would be a little happier if the composition were less "choppy". I mean, if less of the head and tail were chopped off, and if we could see more of the left wings which were the ones which caught the light so nicely.

Great Shot:
You were either using a Macro or this was a hell of a big Dragon Fly. I felt it was a little on the dark side and downloaded the picture and made it just a tad btighter. The wings seem to color up nicely witout affecting the overall picture. Of course that is just a matter of taste and I'm sure there are others that will prefer the darker image.
