Amazing clarity on the eye! The white balance is nicer in this shot compared to the first post I prefer to see a bit more of the background like the first shot. This is a great close up...keep them coming:-)

stormdancer: I dug this toad up out of my pile of sand when I was doing some yard work. This toad wouldn't make a very good pet.

Nice! The clarity is amazing. You know what would be cool is if you could somehow replace the eye and make our planet Earth in there or something... Then again I wouldnt want you to ruin a very cool image. :D

Your decision to focus on the eye and keep such a shallow depth of field was wise, it definately makes that striking iris the subject of the image.

This is amazing. I can almost hear him croak. The sand on the eyes is so vivible and those eyes..I have never seen green eyes like that......I love it!!!
