A bridge is a device for supporting the strings on a stringed instrument and transmitting the vibration of those strings to some other structural component of the instrument in order to transfer the sound to the surrounding air. (Wikipedia) My son's old guitar, the bridge reattached once, worn from use.

how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB

That is indeed a bridge and in truth, I was contemplating taking a shot of my daughter's violin for just such a shot, but found another image that was suitable for contest entry. Nicely macro shot, Thad. Good luck.
