Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. An early Spring brings early bulb flowers like these crocuses enjoying the afternoon sunshine. (EXIF: Macro 100 mm, f/11, 1/200 sec, ISO 100) Enjoy!
This won't make any sense, Thad, but I like this one better although I'll have a hard time explaining why since I'm not sure I understand. "Crocus" is a really nifty close up with wonderful detail including the individual chunks of pollen. However, the focus on this one is more pleasing to my eye. The DoF on this one is better, as every bit of the bloom is well focused. The other is more of a gynecological macro. Your flower shots have always been pretty good, but they've evolved with time into the realm of exquisitudiness.
This is lovely and the clarity, colour and lighting perfect. Ive got it on my DT as I love Spring flowers, and so that I can enjoy it any time its also gone into my fav's for future Springs! Thank you for sharing and well done on such a lovely capture. Ann
