Mount Desert Island, Maine. A rework from the bin, this one in b/w. The Somesville Selectmen's Building and bridge set beside, and reflected in, a stream, across the street from a mill pond and Somes Sound, is a pretty scene anytime of day. Enjoy!

It certainly is a beautiful site, Thad. Can't figure out how you did the reflected portion. Looks like a mirror image, yet the building is not quite aligned.

A stunning image Thad - top notch.

It would be a fine addition to the B/W Challenge if you would like to submit it ?

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Fine Composition, however a Horizontal Flip of this image would add more Eye Appeal. Give it a try and see.

Lovely image and looks great in the B&W although a touch sepia on my monitor. It would ne a sure winner in the B&W challenge.

I love reflections and this is a beauty... love the bridge! the B&W works well here, and I concur it would be a great entry in the B&W Challenge. I'm intrigued by EJ's suggestion of a horizontal flip.

I love the bridge! and the water and the little building! This reminds me of Thomas Kinkade's work, I don't think he had any in black and white, but that's what makes it yours, congratulations on the brilliant photo.
