National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Signers Hall contains life size bronze statues of all of the signers of the US Constitution. At age 79 and in ill-health, Benjamin Franklin attended the Constitution Convention meetings faithfully, adding his wisdom to the dialog. (The statues were created in EIS Studios in Brooklyn, NY. They researched historical documents in the designs.)

I've not been posting lately, but have checked in on Caedes with some frequency. My dad, age 91, has had some health issues (and has recovered), I had some major projects to complete on my old house and some volunteer work that took lots of time.

I've read your additional comment Thad, and appreciate that you've still found the time to provide us with a new contribution. Good to hear that your old dad has recovered!

Your 'portrait' of the bronze Benjamin Franklin is perfectly taken. It's like that we still can hear his wise words.
Very well done!

Sorry to read about your father, Thad.. glad to know that he is doing better.

And yes.. real life does some times get in the way, doesn't it?

That said..

Very nice shot.

Like the DOF you employed. Good good detail and clarity and you and your camera handled the specular reflections well (i.e lighting conditions and subject matter).

Last, but certainly not least..

Thanks for sharing this one with us.

(p.s. Good good to see some images from you again.)
