"In this view are millions of years of geology." That's precisely how a paleontologist friend of mine described our badlands in western North Dakota. Vistas like your buttes, Thad, are as capable as unpolluted views of the Milky Way at making us feel insignificant. The bonus in this case is that we get a lovely view. Nice job.
