Grand Canyon National Park. Waking early, excited to see a sunrise at the Grand Canyon, I was greeted with an incoming thunderstorm from the west, and the sunrise nearly fully blocked by a storm that had gone by earlier. Even in the limited light, the canyon is an amazing sight. Because of the scale of the canyon, it was strange to stand here, nearly at eye level with it and see this storm passing by miles away.

Perfect use of the 'advantages' of an approaching thunderstorm, Thad, 😁 .
The dramatic clouds have emphasized the threatening atmosphere there.
S+F of course! Thanks for sharing this wonderful photograph!
