Yes, I agree with EJ, Mary!, you've captured this wonder
of nature with a splendid angle!
So it is a very nice overview of the fall, and a great
atmosphere here!
Hope to see soon a lot more of this amazing images!

oh, man! what a shot!!! they're all going to be so mad they didn't go there. your vantage point is incredible. i totally love this one. i've seen it from the maryland side but not the virginia side.
What a gorgeous place! I got to visit there when in DC. Love the colors and perspective here! And now I can picture you taking this! It was so nice to get to meet you. Hilda

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
With the detail to the middle and right of the picture, this makes an excellent desktop (on my pc now!) A great water scene, very well composed. Nice to see a post from you again Mary!
I think everything was already said, a good example that "seeing the proper scene" is of importance, not the manipulation afterwards to blow up the shot.
Hello Mary....This is a really exciting image, providing a view on a part of the world that most of us will never see...very good foreground and the river is a very strong lead in line....Well done Mary.....All the best to you....Mick.
Thanks for sharing.
