Heyyy.. this was so nice of you, Terri. Thank you. Those chairs DO look inviting. So peaceful and natural. Glad you'll keep the alligators away, though. They are terrifying!! (are there actually alligators here where you took this picture???)
I hope you had a warm and merry Christmas, and maybe even got some fun new things to play with? Yesterday was a very nice family day for us. Everyone was here, bellies full, place was a mess, and lots of noise. It still echoes :-)
In truth, you would find Quiet and I walking on this path or more likely along the rivers edge on land or in a kayak. Such places are magnets.
A kind dedication and so nice to see trees with leaves, grass that's green and vegetation in the water. All long gone from here until spring dawns again. Thanks for thinking of us and dedicating this shot.

YES....there are alligators...and otters as well...and many turtles. But the alligators don't bother people unless people bother them. :)
I'd protect ya's...:)
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Yikes, thanks Terri. I'm always amazed how people can be non-chalant about alligators roaming freely around them. They are walking mouths.. RUN! Well, I say that, but most Floridians I've met can't believe I would camp in bear country, so what do I know. I do know we sold some kayaks to a lady who wanted to use them in the Florida Everglade. I couldn't believe it. That'd be like take-out for alligators! cheers, Quiet

This is a fantastic spot Terri, and very nicely captured. Lots of lovely rich colours bringing out the lushness of the place. I'll bet theres lots of dragonflies zipping about over those lilies too....!
Cheers,
Steve.
