Hm the only thing I can say is that it is a succulent of some sort, according to the thickness of the leaves...a desert plant? It is just absolutely beautiful! Such a great picture too...This is so mysterious...and the anticipation of the full bloom is great, be SURE and take a pic of that too ok?? great shot!!

These are gorgeous in my opinion. Pretty shot and angle. Very healthy. Saving and going on the hunt to find out what they are. ;) Might help to know where you found them?

hi falki, thanks for the tip that finally lifted the secret around this plant: IS A LIPSTICK PLANT!! using your link to look it up i found that according to the bad images it could also be a aschynanthus radicans.....

It sure is a Lipstick Plant. Related to the African Violet, it likes lots of moist but well-drained soil and humidity in the air. Mine is growing from ceiling to floor in my humid bathroom.

Nice picture, I have never seen so many blooms in one area, mine get 2-3 blooms at each site, but all over the plant.

Take another pic when the "tube" of lipstick blooms out farther. Then, they really look like a tube of lipstick.
