This was an odd shot from a few years ago. A bit of rainbow and nearby clouds made for a strange effect. No retouching. Nutty huh?

Looks very similar to a Sun Dog to me. Actually there is a clearer picture of it to be found HERE. You were lucky to catch and capture this. It's a very lovely upload.
