An absolute beauty! I thought for sure I had planted yellow lilies, oops, they are certainly not yellow. I guess I need to go back now for the yellow ones, lol.

Next step for some experimenting: try combining an edge effect and a soft focus effect on what you have achieved here. The edge effect makes the outlines more crispy where as the soft focus will get rid of the noise introduced by the edge enhancements.
You might try it, but I guess this image is already perfect as it is.
Congratulations Marilyn!
I viewed this in the voting booth, and it got a big 10! Absolutely gorgeous bloom. The color screams YELLOW. And may I add, it's sitting pretty on my desktop. Many thanks, Marilyn. You'll always be the 'flower lady' to me :*>
Hello Marilyn.....I have enjoyed your flowers..... I hate to pick out favourites generally, but this has caught my eye....Your flowers must be the perfect models to work with....You know how to present a nice photo and to make them interesting in terms of presentation, composition, sharpness, detail....The flower is evenly lit. There are no distracting shiny spots on the petals and no deep dark shadows. You can practically feel the velvet petals. The soft, even light you have captured on the flower has created rich colors and textures...love the water droplets...Great work Pat....All the best...Mick.
