I was really attracted to these colors and being there at the right time of day, prompted the use of my camera!! Couldn't seem to resist! This image reminds me of a Renoir or of a Monet! (Claude) Please view with full screen, thank you! Marilyn

Hi Marilynjane
This is almost a painting, autumn in all its beauty.
This image has the same effect on me as the one of Marzena.

Must agree with the Monet or Renoir! Amazing that you were able to capture just about al the colors in the autumn specatacular with just one shot! Good eye and well done Marilyn! Thanks :~)

Another great upload, beautiful shot, the colors, the scenery. Just a great shot, no negatives (not that I want to find one) at all, great job.

My favorite Fall leaves shot so far of yours. Then again, I'm alot behind right now. Saving this one. The balance of color is wonderful. Love your title too. Fits perfectly.

the palette of colours is simply astonishing
like the burning coals in a fire
well done on catching them

fabulous subtle use of the trunk to move off center the point of attention without it actually being the subject... merely adds weight to the left hand side of the pic .... very clever

I agree that Monet or Renoir are brought to mind when one views this stunning image of autumn with its spectacular colours so well captured yet again, and this will probably get my vote for my favourite autumn shot so far, but I am sure that you will produce more shots before winter shows its face. Full screen it is magnificent!!

This is awesome!! The light is fantastic, you almost feel as though its the leaves themselves glowing. The smaller picture does it no justice to when you see it full screen. Breath taking. Another fave lol.

Marilyn, I must admit, I came here a few days ago, in a hurry, and downloaded this for my desktop where it still resides. This is one of my favorites of this year's Fall photos! I love the play of light through these gorgeous colors. From a distance, it becomes a beautiful abstract. Everyone coming in my office mentions how beautiful an image. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you with my thanks.
