Hi, guess what, I found myself in the Galapagos Islands this morning! The word Galapagos is the spanish word for turtle or, in this case, the large giant tortoise! These wonderfully historical islands lie off the coast of Ecuador, about 600 miles! They are famous for these large turtles, which can weigh as much as 600 pounds and live to be over one hundred yrs! Also, the islands are well known for the famous Darwin Foundation and his research! This image reminded me of these wondrous aquatic islands, joking of course, but only in part! Smiling! This mushroom does resemble a turtle, don't you think? LOL! Marilyn

Psalm 91 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." 3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; 6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.....

Hello Marilyn....I am at present looking at your gallery and I have come across this lovely picture of a mushroom....Mushrooms are some of the least known life forms, sure everyone knows what they are, but most have no idea how diverse their kingdom is and know nothing of the kind of beauty held within this kingdom, but you have given the viewers a heads up, so when they go strolling they can look down and witness these little beauties...Good Work....All the best....Mick
