Hello Marilyn.....This is indeed, an excellent close up shot of a beautiful flower....Marilyn,I like the way you isolate and simplify your flower compositions and how you use natural light to your advantage....You have captured the beauty, shape and intricate detail of this flower superbly... I was immediately attracted to its strong design and beautiful colour....The flower looks in perfect condition and looks amazing when set off by a complimentary blue background....Very clever on your part Marilyn.....All the best to you.....Mick.

Superb close up! The little misting of water droplets ads a nice effect. Clarity color sharpness etc. are great. Faved.

Hello my dear friend!! It's always very special when you post one of your beautiful flower finds on here. What I like most in this photo is the angle from which you chose to take the photo.
That's such an important thing to consider, especially with flowers. People have the tendency to do it from the same view all the time, and you do it different. I like that quality about you very much Marilyn.SHowing the beauty of the under part of this Lily is gorgeous. Those greens and the pinks and then the sunlight shining thru as this flower reaches towards the bloo bloo sky!! Just lovely!!! And look at the rich colour in those stamens. wow!! Thank you so very much for bringing a bit of Spring to us at this cold time of the year. I wish you well, and stay warm!! Verena
