I loved this picture because it says a lot. To me I see it as you are having fun on the beach but it can also be that we are people are standing on the beach of our lives and looking into a sea of endless possibilities and we can do anything if we put our minds to it.
This picture represents a lot in my life...Confusion? Lost? Who am i? A wandering soul, a renegade on the run. Lost thoughts, spirtis, LIES, out of control. Nomad, warrior, vagabond. This picture means a lot to me, sentimentaly and all. I feel like, i'm in the ocean. Sometimes it feels like, sand is down my pants and it itches. This picture is so real, so, so, so...intricate. Matt's Background...the words run out of your mouth like succulent honey out of the hive. I love you Matt :)
Very good. I noticed that the head is slumped foreward and the arms seem sort of paralyzed by his side. He looks like he's been crushed by some horrible tragic event or circumstance, but (noting he is in midstep) continues on with his trek despite his impairment.(sorry, I realize you weren't impaired, this is just what I see). Also, I noticed he is not taking the direct path to the beach, but instead veering off to one side, as if to prolong his journey to his ultimate destiny. Which is interesting.
I see a highly evolved monkey, walking on a rock graveyard... centuries of time wasted breaking down massive rocks just to allow this "Matt" to walk on a beach without shoes on. I see a constant struggle between rock and water, erosion, history slipping away from us... I see dead people.
This photo was posted on caedes front page today. I can't help but wonder who these people are, and the way this is laid out. Very odd. Great emotional photo, no matter it really is meant to be. I enjoyed seeing it.
