Thanks for the giggle on the description! Amazing it grew (or got stuck) like that! Enough to make a chiropractor retire! Fun post. Neat capture. Thanks!

Excellent capture, Darryl. A definite focal point -- did you use a blur tool? At any rate, well done.

Very well thought through picture. Did you take the shot like that, or was the excellent blurring added later?

Fantastic shot, Darryl, and your usual excellent job of seeing a great shot that many would have passed by. D10F, my friend. :)

(Just wondering if you were kind enough to plant a couple of aspirins at the roots for the poor guy...giggle)

i think this wouldnt be blurred artifically. i think it would almost be better like that tho, because then the whole tree would be perfectly in focus. as it is not, the aperature was so wide only the bit in the middle of the tree is perfectly focused

What an interesting photo Darryl. You have done good on this one! I would have never thought to even shoot this pic let alone come up with a great title & description too! I love the moss on the tree (makes it look old like me ,lol.) This whole image makes me feel as though I am in the Enchanted Forest. I am waiting for the Forest Fairies to appear any moment. Excellent capture & thank you.

Great image! This looks like what we called a squaw bench. The Indians would weigh down the sappling so that it would grow in that shape.
