Wow Darryl..looks like that new book is paying off :)! These white oysterettes look like something that would be found in the ocean (no pun intended). They are very transparent and you have captured that very well as you did the structure of these fungi. The lighting is excellent. Whatever else you did with your camera to capture these, you did damn good. Right into my fav's on my harddrive so they can grow some more in the dark of the computer :~)

Wow, one of the more crisp photographs I've seen on this site. Excelent quality. The composition is also very cool. Nice job.

Beautiful shot Darryl. Like Mimi I thought they looked like they belong in a coral reef. They look so delicate.

Beautiful! The lighting on the shrooms is magnificent - they almost seem to glow from within. I like the contrast between the pinsharp shrooms and the soft mossy bg as well - it really makes them stand out. Very nice indeed :-)

Only the third 10 I've given on the site, and I've been here quite a while. The focus is incredible, and the way you captured the light shining both on and through the mushrooms is exquisite. I'm in awe.

Hi Darryl, my oh my, this is truly as beautiful as a favorite floral image! These mushroons are the most gorgeous colors with their translucency, they indeed seem to be unreal! I never knew mushroons could be so beautiful! The clarity is exceptional and into my favs they go! Do you think they will continue to grow there? If not, I will bring in a gardener! LOL! Really, expertly done, Darrly! Sincerely, Marilyn

OK, I know I already commented, but I have to add something. Here it is, almost a week later, I'm still using this image on my desktop and I'm still stunned by its beauty every time I see it. There are a lot of beautiful images on Caedes, but not all have such staying power.
