Oh gosh this reminds me totally of a tiny little farm my Dad used to own..And that huge field.of...wheat? its wheat? it doesnt look like it to me, but maybe I dont remember how it really looked ..LOL..A really wonderful scene...it says so much...I could sit here and almost hear the little breeze over the field...and the quiet..maybe a grasshopper or two..would love to write a poem about this one..

Takes me back to when I was a wee lad in Minnestoa, running thru my grandparents fields hunting for grasshoppers and frogs. GReat job. *bow*

Excellent colors here Darryl. This image brings back some wonderful memories of me on my Uncle's farm. He grew wheat. I still can remember the scent of it and the sound of the breeze ruffling through the plants. Is this what we call "winter wheat"? Obviously, the name comes from the timing of the planting and growing :~)
Dowloaded this into my favorites on my harddrive so I can take that trip down memory lane whenever I want to........
Well done my friend. Thanks :))

This is great Darryl. You got at just the right level with the wheat or grass to make this very effective and with the shack in it, this works so well.

I think this is absolutely beautiful! Great composition, too. My only suggestion would be to crop out the tree on the left. It's in my favs.

Grand colours. Excellent proportions. And the mood of the shot - absolutely one of the kind. All in all - superb job;-)

Very nice framing and subject matter. It may be just me, though, but it seems you've over Photoshopped the photo, maybe the contrast. The wheat looks a little odd, but maybe you were trying to achieve that.

Wow! That's a lot of wheat! A bit hard on the eyes with all of it, but that barn and blue sky make up for it. A nice, simple photo that allows you to forget your troubles. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day! *John 3:16*
