It's all about perspective and perception.
This makes a really interesting compostion with the orange splotches of the trees and the white splotches of the clouds. The perspective is great too.

I must like lens distortion because I LOVE this shot. Those trees seem to go on and on. The autumn hued leaves are beauties and I like the way they seem like orange clumps wayyy up in the trees. The sky is gorgeous Darryl, and so blue, with splotches of creamy clouds showing through the tree trunks. You did a wonderful job *laid back* and the title tells it all. This is unbelivably striking on the desktop. My thanks to you :^>
