G'day Darryl,
An ubercute puppy captured well. The contrast between his b&w and the rich green of the grass really works and his head is nice and sharp. I know one young girl who is going to make googly noises over this fella. :)
Mikel.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

You captured a Rembrandt face with this puppy's expression. The dog's colors do work well with the background. How long did the puppy stay in place for this shot? He looks like he is ready to go check out something he is looking at. Wonderful picture.
"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."
--Socrates (in "Apology")
This lil guy is adorable :) How did you hold his interest? Great details of his precious puppy body. He has lovely coloring which is stunning against the lush green grass. This gets an A+. Thanks Darryl, for this smile bringer :^>
Great portrait! It is a sweet subject and perfectly in-focus. I love the contrast between the bright, bold green and the black & white of the puppy. :)
Oh Darryl..I had not seen this before for some reason..and this little guy is adorable for sure..He's a poser too eh??!! Is he a Sheepdog? And by now he's full grown? How about a NEW photo of him? Would love to see him now..in his dapper colours...I've been wanting to get a doggie, sure would love one like this!! Super photo....(and how are ya anyway my friend?!) Verena
Darryl, please !
For God's sake !
This is unfair not to show us what a huge and angry doggie grew out of this little tiny puppy LOL
I mean it, dear friend spelunker [which as you might kindly remember in Polish means a person attending frequently 'low places with low friends' LOL]
We all know that you a most respectful underground cave explorer !
Hey... how did you make this little cute stand still, or how could you run around and take such a still pic. I remember when we got ours as a pup, it just wouldn't sit still, unless it was sleeping... beautiful shot
