OK, flower shots are a whole art form on their own, worthy of a lifetime's dedication, so you took on a mighty challenge!! :) Pretty much the entire flower is sharp, this is rare, more common is a dof that blurs out at least one area. Detail is great, we can see the pollen. Colour is rich. When the entire image is "a flower" composition becomes incredibly simple and horribly important all at the same time. You got a bit of angle on the flower, angle is generally good in comp, two thirds of the flower is in the lower left half of the image, that's a good ratio usually. (Rule of thirds.) Background is simple and well blurred. All in all I think you did pretty damn fine for your second attempt! :)
