This Mantis is praying that the cold weather leaves & his life span extended. Hubby found him as he was using the leaf blower. I watched this Mantis change color and to some green in order to adapt to the bush that he was put on by hubby. Critique is welcome here

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
What a beautifully clear photograph... and I am seeing Mantises (Mantisi?) all over these days. They are definitely part of the Autumn season. Fantastic picture.
